Tolls are authorised under the Tamar Bridge Act at rates contained in the current Statutory Instrument.
These tolls are due at the time of crossing and the 1979 Act Authorises administrative charges to be levied when tolls are settled
at some time after payment has been demanded at booths or onboard ferries.
The initial and enhanced fees are a reasonable assessment of the additional cost of processing such payments,
moderating costs that would otherwise be imposed on other users.
If you believe either the toll and/or fees above are not due, have been settled or are due at a lower rate,
please visit https://www.tamarcrossings.org.uk/disputing-a-violation-notice/, where appeal documentation and advice is available.
